If you are interested in a crazy, impossible, irrational and mind-blowing anti-superhero movie, then Kick-Ass 2 is the movie for you. This movie pushes the envelope when it comes to ANYTHING you can think of in a movie. There are crazy fight sequences, violent and insane injuries, unnatural plot lines and hysterical scenes that will leave your mouth open for a good 10 seconds. The film was definitely entertaining if you could keep your common sense and realistic thoughts at the movie theater entrance. Aaron Taylor-Johnson reprises his lead role as Kick-Ass, a bored teenager whose idea of fun is crime fighting bad guys. He is accompanied by a grown up Chloe Grace Moretz who has a vendetta to fight criminals to honor her fallen superhero father ‘Big Daddy’. Then you have to add the return of Christopher Mintz-Plasse, with his annoying frontal lisp, and you have the heart of the original cast. In addition, there are veteran actors such as Jim Carrey and Morris Chestnut that round off the newcomer adults of the movie. This film takes you places that are typically unheard of in a movie. For that reason alone, I loved it! This was a hysterical roller coaster ride of fun that I would recommend that you ‘hit it’ at the movies, if you need an escape from reality and can leave your working brain at the door.
