The Baseline: Missing NBA story lines and remembering Shareef Abdur-Rahim

The show doesn’t stop for The Baseline NBA podcast. The fellas are back this week discussing the league in a new format that will keep your ears perked up. Tune in as they discuss:

The Breakdown

We miss the NBA something terrible. As the Covid-19 situation continues to play out we express our lament for the storylines that are forever changed in what was/is an interesting season.

  • LeBron James‘ assault on NBA history. The king is averaging a double-double for the first time in his career and the Lakers are one of the favorites to win the whole thing.
  • Chris Paul was having a bounce-back season while the Oklahoma City Thunder were positioning themselves as a pesky out in the playoffs.
  • Will the Milwaukee Bucks lose Giannis Antetokounmpo? The season was shaping up nicely for them to make the NBA Finals but does this pandemic present a missed opportunity?
  • The final season for Vince Carter has been rudely interrupted and fans are missing out on their opportunity to say farewell.

Will they reminisce?

  • We bring back one of our most exciting segments to discuss the playing career of  Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
