Cal Lee and Warren Shaw wrap up the NBA All-Star festivities in the Crescent City. Caught up in the midst of the atmosphere, some quality moments arose from this weekend’s activities and for the new NBA Commissioner minus a horrible Slam Dunk Competition, it should be considered a successful showing by the NBA’s best.
Clearly the only theme that consumed the mind of every fan and media head was the word…Rushmore. It’s funny, had our 3rd Grade teachers known that the most effective way to get us to learn about Mount Rushmore is corner the NBA’s best player to voice his all time greats on a mountain, we would’ve all aced geography. Since Lebron James pronounced his NBA Rushmore, he’s opened a box far worse than Pandora and now everything has to be attached with a “Top Four” affiliation. So if you’re looking for our version of Rushmore, you won’t find it on this show.
