It’s Wildcard Weekend in the NFL. Here is a preview for the AFC match ups.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts play host to the Chiefs this weekend. The last time these two teams met, the Colts handled their business and defeated the Chiefs 23-7. For Kansas City, Jamaal Charles having a good game goes without saying. Alex Smith needs to set the tone for his offense, otherwise their season can come to a halt. The Chiefs’ defense will be seeing a balanced offensive attack out of Andrew Luck and the Colts, but the lack of legitimate weapons makes them not so intimidating.
Prediction: Chiefs should hang on to win 27-21 against the Colts.
San Diego Charges vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Chargers are going into Cincinnati with a little momentum. Both teams have won 4 of their last 5, but San Diego’s last loss came courtesy of none other than the Bengals. Philip Rivers has been electrifying on the field for weeks and will need to carry that energy into the game this weekend. The Bengals are undefeated at home this season and will be looking to extend the streak. For Cincinnati, Andy Dalton needs to minimize the turnovers. He threw 4 INTs against the Ravens, and although they made it out with the win, the Chargers may not be as generous.
Prediction: Bengals win 21-17.
